About East20th

A small range of everyday accessories, kept short on purpose.

The range

East20th is a considered range of everyday accessories. For men: watches, bracelets, rings, chains, cufflinks, sunglasses and wallets. For women: watches, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, sunglasses and handbags, plus a minimalist jewelry edit. And phone cases for everyone. We keep each category tight on purpose — one good version of a thing rather than nine near-identical ones, which makes it easier to find what you came for and leave.

Most pieces sit between $20 and $80 — accessible enough that a second one isn’t a big decision. The pieces are made to look considered without asking for much: plain finishes, useful sizes, nothing that shouts. No seasonal churn, no countdown timers, no permanent sale.

If you’re not sure where to start, the four categories in the menu — Men’s, Women’s, Phone Cases and Gifts — cover most of it.

Materials and care

Each product page lists what that item is made of. Below is how to keep the common materials looking right.

Watches

Wipe the case and strap with a soft, dry cloth. Keep away from perfume and lotion, which dull metal and mark leather straps. Water resistance, where a watch has it, is listed on its product page — treat anything without a stated rating as not water resistant, and keep it away from showers and swimming.

Jewelry

Store pieces separately so they don’t scratch each other, ideally in a dry spot away from humidity. Take jewelry off before showering, swimming or exercising. Wipe with a soft cloth after wear. Plated and gold-tone finishes are surface finishes and will wear faster with heavy daily contact — rings and bracelets more than earrings or pendants.

Leather and bags

Keep leather dry and out of direct heat. Wipe marks with a barely-damp cloth and let it air dry, away from radiators. A leather conditioner used sparingly a couple of times a year keeps it supple. Stuff bags loosely when storing so they hold their shape.

Sunglasses

Clean lenses with a microfiber cloth rather than a shirt or tissue, which scratch. Store in a case. Don’t rest them lens-down on hard surfaces.

Phone cases

Clear cases can yellow over time with UV and skin oils — normal for the material. A wipe with mild soapy water and a soft cloth cleans most marks. Let it fully dry before putting your phone back in.
